Family Law Attorney

What You’ll Do
- Handle divorce, custody, support, and related family law matters
- Manage your own caseload with full administrative and legal support
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- Represent clients in hearings, negotiations, and filings
- Work remotely with occasional in-person court appearances
What We’re Looking For
- Active Michigan Bar license (required)
- At least 1 year of family law experience (required)
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work remotely while meeting deadlines

Litigation Attorney
What You’ll Do
- Manage a diverse caseload of family law litigation matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and counsel to clients on family law issues.
- Conduct thorough legal research, analysis, and document preparation.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating for their best interests.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.
- Stay current with changes in family law and litigation practices to ensure the highest quality of service.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law litigation.
- Member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan or licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan.
- Strong advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to achieve optimal results for clients under pressure.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with proficiency in drafting legal documents.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to diverse client needs.

Junior/Entry Legal Family Law Attorney
What You’ll Do
- Draft, review, and file family law documents, including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and legal correspondence.
- Participate actively in client consultations, providing empathetic and strategic legal guidance on divorce, custody, child support, and other domestic matters under the supervision of senior counsel.
- Represent clients during virtual and in-person family court appearances, motion hearings, and conferences.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and court arguments.
- Manage case progression proactively, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are consistently met.
What We’re Looking For
- Active membership in the Michigan State Bar, OR recent bar passage with pending licensure in Michigan.
- 0–3 years of legal experience; recent law school graduates with a demonstrated interest in Family Law are highly encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
- High emotional intelligence and empathy for clients navigating difficult life transitions, coupled with a high degree of professionalism and a proactive, coachable approach to learning.
